HARRISBURG – Reps. Kristin Marcell (R-Bucks) and Joe Hogan (R-Bucks), along with Sen. Frank Farry (R-Bucks), are pleased to announce that Northampton Township has been awarded a $1 million state grant through the Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program (RACP) to fund the construction of Northampton Fire Station No. 3. Located at 3 Township Road the new station will bring enhanced safety and emergency response capabilities to the Richboro community and beyond.

“I am proud to have worked with Senator Farry and Representative Hogan to help secure this grant, which will help defray the costs of construction to develop this state-of-the-art facility for our firefighters,” said Marcell. “This new station represents a major upgrade for emergency response capabilities for our community.”

Marcell, Hogan and Farry collaborated closely to secure the RACP funding for this project.

“I am pleased I was able to help secure this funding for the construction of Northampton Fire Station No. 3.,” said Farry. “The new station will bring enhanced safety to our first responders and the communities they protect.”

“I am thrilled to have been a part of securing this RACP funding,” said Hogan. “This long-term investment will allow the Northampton Township Fire Department to keep our community safe while serving with efficiency and compassion for decades to come.”

The RACP is a state grant program that supports critical infrastructure projects throughout Pennsylvania. This new station in Northampton Township will serve as a modern hub for emergency services, supporting the work of local firefighters and first responders and bolstering the safety of the surrounding community.
